Auction Archive duties and happeningsCanada's Brave Boys Boer War Commemorative Medal, 34 mm in diameter, silver, with inscription "CANADA'S BRAVE BOYS" along the outer edge, "SOUTH AFRICA 1900" surrounding the handle of a sword, and a dove with a banner in its mouth reading "WELCOME HOME". Maker marked P. W. ELLIS & Co. TORONTO below. The medal is chain suspended from a 22 mm x 40 mm silver hanger, featuring a maple leaf, crossed swords and an intertwined banner reading "TORONTO
