Constructed of silvered tombak with enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original tri fold ribbon, the obverse consisting of a Silesian style German national eagle with feathering and details highlighted in silver, clutching a banner in its talons bearing a raised inscription of FR SCHLESIEN (FOR SILESIA), overlaid across its chest by a silvered Brustmond, unmarked, measuring 31. 55 mm (w) x 46. 14 mm (h),
