In bronze, the obverse bears the coat of arms of Cuba,topped by a Phyrigian cap, flanked by the dates 1898 and 1902, the upper contour of the medal bears the words ARMY OF OCCUPATION MILITARY GOVERNMENT OF CUBA, the reverse bears an eagle above the words FOR SERVICE, the upper contour of the medal bears the words UNITED STATES ARMY, numbered 7501 on the edge, on original ribbon in red, yellow, and blue, 30 mm, very
