I have long admired these sorts of tiles-- produced in the 18th and 19th century during the Qajar period in Persia--which very frequently feature hunters on horses like this one

It's nice and substantial, and one could use it as a tasting or a serving spoon or, if you're hungry, use it to eat your soup or stew! It's definitely got some years on it, but remains in good condition with some aging to the wood as pictured. 8" long x 2 1 2"
