Tom Chantrell's design is more akin to a travel poster than a film poster, and it certainly makes us want to visit! Sumptuous colours. Tom Chantrell (1916 2001) arguably the greatest British film poster designer, certainly one of its most prolific, reputedly finishing some 800 designs. Born the son of a circus performer in Manchester, England, he started work in advertising as an
